Atlético Ottawa has signed Canadian defender Karl Ouimette on a two-year deal. 

Atlético Ottawa has bolstered its defence after completing the signing of Canadian defender Karl Ouimette running through until the end of the 2024 Canadian Premier League season.

Ouimette, who is from Terrebonne in Québec, came through CF Montreal’s academy alongside fellow Atlético Ottawa defender Maxim Tissot before joining New York Red Bulls in 2015.

The 30-year-old defender featured 18 times for the Canadian Men’s National Team between 2013-16 before recently playing for Indy Eleven alongside Carl Haworth in the United Soccer League (USL).
