Atlético Ottawa has confirmed that midfielder Junior Agyekum has left the club on mutual agreement.

Junior joined Atlético Ottawa as the club’s first pick in the 2023 U-SPORTS Draft, following a stand-out season with Thompson River University where the 21-year-old was named MVP.

“We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Junior Agyekum for his outstanding commitment during his time with our club,” said Atlético Ottawa CEO, Fernando López. “It has been a pleasure to witness his progress and growth. We wish him all the best in his future endeavours.”
