Ottawa, ON (February 19th, 2021) – Atlético Ottawa have re-announced the community partnership with Ottawa South United (OSU) through the newly announced Powered by Atlético Ottawa program.
Ottawa South United was founded in 2003, through the joining of two community soccer clubs in South Ottawa. OSU is a staple in the soccer community, the have built a successful club through coaching excellence, community activity, strong partnerships, and proven player success.
Powered by Atlético Ottawa provides opportunities for partner minor soccer clubs to expand their reach, grow membership, learn from a professional environment, and build a connection to local professional soccer.
As a part of the Powered by Atlético Ottawa program Ottawa South United’s Première Ligue de soccer du Québec (PSLQ) men’s and women’s teams have been designated as OSU Atlético starting in 2021. None of the clubs who take part in the Powered by Atlético Ottawa program should be conceived as being a reserve team or academy for Atlético Ottawa.

We are now building on the foundation built in 2020 to build a strong relationship as we move into playing professional games in Ottawa again.
