Breaking Down Barriers: Atlético Ottawa Partners Up for Free Indigenous Soccer Program

Atlético Ottawa has opened the registration process for our free-to-play summer soccer training in collaboration with the Odawa Native Friendship Centre. This program has been brought to the community thanks to partners St. Anthony’s Soccer Club and SAF Performance, with over 25% of the spaces filled in the first hour.

Calling all soccer fans between the ages of 9-16 years old! The Atleti Equal Access Summer Soccer Program is gearing up for its launch date in just a couple of weeks time.

Atlético Ottawa, in partnership with SAF Performance and St. Anthony’s Soccer Club hosted a registration evening on Tuesday, July 11th between 6:00-7:30 pm, at the Odawa Native Friendship Centre on St. Laurent Boulevard. All were welcome to attend the free summer soccer program registration evening, where families were provided with program details.

The program will run weekly from July until September, where young soccer players will have the opportunity to be active and develop new skills from the top-quality coaches at SAF Performance. Parents were given the opportunity to meet the coaches, learn more about their coaching philosophy and ask any questions they had.
