This match marks the return of Atlético Ottawa’s renowned Home Opener initiative, aligning with community causes. The 2024 regular season schedule boasts 112 matches spanning coast to coast, with each of the eight CPL teams engaging in 28 games over the balanced schedule. This year marks the third acknowledgment of a regular season winner by the CPL, with the Canadian Premier League Shield bestowed upon the team with the best performance over the 28-game season. The top five teams at the season’s conclusion will advance to the 2024 CPL Playoffs, featuring the same electrifying postseason format introduced in 2023, emphasizing the regular season standings.
