Atlético Ottawa is proud to announce the signing of Canadian midfielder Noah Verhoeven on a two-year deal.
The 23-year-old, from British Columbia, has been a standout player in the Canadian Premier League (CPL) since his debut in 2019 with Pacific FC where he earned high praise and an invitation to the Canada Men’s National Team training camp under head coach John Herdman.
Verhoeven joined York United in 2021 and has gone on to make 55 appearances in the CPL, registering five assists along the way. The Surrey-born midfielder brings added experience to the Ottawa squad and, as a deep-lying midfielder, he will provide a different kind of creativity to the centre of the park.
At Atlético Ottawa, Verhoeven will have the opportunity to continue his development within an organization with a renowned global network as this signing further demonstrates the club’s commitment to building an increasingly competitive squad in pursuit of further success in the nation’s capital.
