Meet Cricket.

A 2 year old male potcake from Antigua. He has been in Ottawa for about a year and he has not found his furever home. He is social, playful and a massive snuggle bug. He really does have a heart of gold. On Oct 20, Atletico Ottawa wants to help Cricket find the right furever home. This is his night. He is the star. Come and meet Cricket and find out everything about adopting Cricket and other dogs through Eastern Ontario Potcake Rescue.

Also, Cricket is bringing a couple friends with him. There will be a number of rescue dogs roaming the concourse at TD Place. Remember these are rescue dogs who have been through some stuff., so be calm and ask the handler questions.

And in case you didn’t know… Potcakes are the name given to mixed-breed dogs from the Caribbean. All the dogs are Potcakes at Cricket’s Big Night. All made possible by Eastern Ontario Potcake Rescue – a small but mighty Ottawa-based animal rescue. (Learn more about EOPR below)

And of note… just in case you were wondering… No, you cannot bring your dog to this match. Yes, that has happened before at TD Place, but this night is all about Cricket
