Ottawa, ON (March 8th, 2021) – Atlético Ottawa is thrilled to announce Ottawa Gloucester Hornets (OGH) as the newest Powered by Atlético Ottawa program community partner.

The Ottawa Gloucester Hornets are a founding member of the Ottawa Gloucester Soccer Club, they have been a soccer mainstay in East Ottawa since 1971. OGH offers competitive and recreational programs for youth and senior players.

Powered by Atlético Ottawa Program will provide the opportunity for Ottawa Gloucester Hornets to provide additional tools, resources, and unforgettable experiences to their Club members, while facilitating a pathway for their youth players to be identified by Atlético de Madrid, Atlético Ottawa and the Canadian Premier League (CPL).

As part of the Program, Ottawa Gloucester Hornets will have the right to:

• Use of the Atlético Ottawa Powered by Program brand on club communications, promotion, advertising and PR Activities.
• Presence on specific branding, communication and media platforms of Atlético Ottawa.
• Season membership, group tickets, youth tickets and merchandise discounts, exclusive access to Atlético Ottawa events.
• Invitations to team practices, intra-squad games and access to Atlético Ottawa technical staff such as nutritionists, physical conditioning, strength, fitness trainers, doctors and other staff.

In addition, realize the opportunity presented by Atlético Ottawa parent Club Atlético de Madrid and the experiences Ottawa Gloucester Hornets will have access too:

• Organize Atlético de Madrid Clinics/Summer Camps in Ottawa.
• Organize Seminars and congress based on Atlético de Madrid methodology and OGH Soccer.
• Access for all the OGH players to Atlético de Madrid Clinics and Summer Camps at the Official Atlético de Madrid Training Complex in Madrid, Spain.
• Access for the OGH coaches to the Atlético de Madrid Coaches Experience Online or in Madrid, Spain.
• Access for OGH players and coaches to an exclusive “Atlético travel experience” to visit Atlético de Madrid, in Madrid, Spain and attend La Liga and/or European games.
• Access for the OGH teams to the Atlético de Madrid Tournaments Network
