Viewing party TONIGHT – Starts at 6pm!
We are on the road again tonight. This time travelling to North York to face York United FC. (KO 7PM, live on OneSoccer) We will be looking for redemption after a disappointing loss against Halifax on the weekend. Now, the question is… where will you watch the match? How about with a group of awesome people who love soccer and support Atleti?
- WHERE: The Senate Tavern on Bank St. (1159 Bank Street)
- WHEN: 6pm for banter. 7pm for kickoff.
- WHO: Capital City Supporters Group, Bytown Boys SC and many more.
To learn more about each group check out their websites: Capital City SG – Bytown Boys SC
And to add some context to the evening:
- Atlético Ottawa striker Malcolm Shaw was selected on the Gatorade Team of the Week for Week 12 after scoring the side’s lone goal on Saturday, his seventh on the season, positioning him in second position and only four goals behind league-leading Joao Morelli in the golden boot race.
- Shaw enters Tonight’s match with six goals in his last 10 matches.
- Ottawa will face a bolstered York United FC team that secured an important win over Forge FC on the weekend, winning 2-0 at Forge’s home pitch.
- Head Coach Mista continues to focus on progress, something his side has shown plenty of over the past two months. With 5 players 19 years old or younger, and two more clocking in at only 20 years old, continued development will be as big for this season’s results as it will be in setting the club up for success in the future.
