FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Yes, we are the Official Atlético de Madrid AND Atlético Ottawa Soccer Camps.

In 2025, the Atlético de Madrid / Atlético Camps and Clinics will be offered:

  • High Performance Clinic – Ottawa, ON: Jan 2/3, 2025
  • March Break Camp: TBD
  • Summer Camp: TBD

You can register online. Click HERE and select your week, then:
1. Complete your purchase.
2. You will receive an automatic email confirming your purchase.
3. After your purchase, one of our Account Managers will contact you to complete a camp registration form with the details of the participant.
4. You are all set for our camp. Enjoy the experience!

A 1.5 hour training session with Official Atlético de Madrid and Atletico Ottawa Coaches. We also have a series of guest coaches who may include top-tier local coaches along with professional players from Atlético Ottawa. Players will learn successful methodology and skills.

Water will be provided to the players during the breaks, which occur between sessions, to ensure the campers stay hydrated and healthy.

Campers will receive an Atlético de Madrid Soccer Camp Certified diploma for the completion of the camp.

Each participant will receive one Nike training shirt directly from Atlético de Madrid.

After registration, you will receive an email confirmation of your registration to the camp but the training shirt will be provided on the first day of the camp. Alternatively, arrangements can be made to collect the training shirt ahead of time at our Atlético Ottawa offices at TD Place.

Additionally, each participant will receive one Atlético Ottawa match ticket for a game during the upcoming 2023 season. 

Yes, additional Nike training kits are available for purchase. Each kit includes training socks, shorts and a shirt for $50 plus applicable taxes.

Each participant must bring:

  • Soccer cleats
  • Personal water bottle
  • Healthy snacks

It is also highly recommended that players bring shin guards and isotonic drinks such as Powerade, Gatorade, etc.

The fee for the two day High Performance Clinic is $149. The fee for one week of camp starts at $399.

Children (boys and girls) between U7 and U13 are welcomed at the Atlético de Madrid Camps.

The maximum ratio is of one (1) Coach for every 15-20 players. There will be Atlético de Madrid and Atlético Ottawa coaches overseeing the group of coaches selected from the Atlético Ottawa Powered By Program.

The groups will be divided by age and development level. On the first day of the camp players will be separated into their age groups. The Atlético de Madrid Coaches will then conduct a skill level test to finalize the groups. Players can be switched from one group to another one during the camp to maximize their learning opportunities and ensure their continued enjoyment.

Official Coaches from Atlético de Madrid will be on hand exclusively to conduct the training sessions in Ottawa, along with Atlético Ottawa coaches as well. In contrast to many other camps, all these coaches are currently involved with Atlético de Madrid throughout the year. The coaches and players will work hands-on with the camp attendees.

January High Performance Clinic – 9:30am to 11:00am 

Parents are welcome to watch training sessions. We ask however that you stay in a designated area as to not interfere with the training dynamics.

If you choose to cancel your reservation, we must receive written notice of said cancellation either via certified mail, overnight courier, or e-mail sent to info@atleticoottawa.club (with confirmation of receipt thereof from us), and you shall be subject to the following cancellation fee schedule:

  • If we receive a written notice between 60 days prior to the start of the camp date, the organization will retain 50% of the payment fee paid.
  • If we receive a written notice of canceling within 30 days of the camp date, there will be no refunds of the amount paid for the Atlético Ottawa Soccer Camps.
  • If the participant simply does not show up to the camp, there will be no refunds for the amount paid or equipment shipped to participant.

Camps are subject to change or cancellation without notice at any time for any reason, including if the number of participants registered is insufficient to host the camp. Upon cancellation of camp by our staff, full refunds will be issued within 30 days of cancellation or participants can choose to attend any of the other camps, subject to on availability. If the camp is cancelled, our liability is limited to a full refund of the price and we will not be liable for any other costs, damages, or refunds of any kind for any loss, delay, inconvenience, disappointment, travel or other expense whatsoever in such circumstances. No refunds will be given if a program in progress must be interrupted or cancelled for reasons beyond our control.

Force Majeure and Acts of God. In the event Firmament is unable to perform its obligations under the terms of this agreement due to circumstances beyond its control like terrorism, a pandemic, war, labour strikes, adverse weather conditions, etc., will not be liable to provide any refund for services not delivered due to such circumstances.

COVID 19. Given the extraordinary circumstances produced by the COVID 19 pandemic, will endeavour to minimize the economic impact of cancellations to our clients by offering a credit when possible. This credit might be partial depending on the costs assumed by for organization and promotion of the program. Please note that in order to protect the interests of all participants and while the COVID 19 alert is in effect, might at its sole discretion deny any refund request that falls under the above schedule
