Atlético Ottawa completed their regular season schedule on Sunday evening at TD Place, as they defeated York United 2-1 to head into the playoffs on a winning note.
The hosts — also celebrating their title as 2022 regular season champions — drew first blood 25 minutes in, as Maxim Tissot buried a rebound from Ballou Tabla’s shot to make it 1-0. Shortly before halftime, it was Brian Wright who picked one out of the air to score and make it 2-0 for Ottawa.
York did find a goal of their own in the second half, as Osaze De Rosario headed in his 12th goal of the season to cut the lead in half, but____
