Before coming to an Atleti game, Thomas Wieleba was not a soccer fan. After attending his first match, he is now hooked. His son was the original soccer fan in his family, so Thomas decided to get a season seat membership for 2023 and give soccer a chance. Now Thomas loves coming to the matches with the entire family and is constantly trying to bring newcomers to TD Place with him and is doubling up on season seats for 2024. Growing up playing hockey and football, Thomas has now caught the Atleti bug and now coaches youth soccer and plays in a recreational soccer league. It’s stories like Thomas’ that we want to share. It is important to remember that there is so many people out there who have not been exposed or been touched by what we call the beautiful game. Our goal as a club is to continue growing the sport in the city of Ottawa.
