Still reeling after that Alberto Soto strike last match, and the 12,000 strong at our Home Opener! Quite a run we are on, all thanks to you and your support. TD Place is rocking during home matches and we wouldn’t want it any other way. It all continues Saturday night with our third home match ever. The Match Day Guide is your one stop shop for the important info you’ll need to know, and maybe access on your phone while here or on your way here. So, for starters, we play Valour FC and kickoff is 7pm. GET TICKETS HERE. We played Valour twice in the bubble, and it did not go our way. That all changes Saturday night. This match is part of the Canadian Championship. If unfamiliar with the #CanChamp (as the kids call it) READ MORE HERE. The Canadian Championship is a large Canada-wide competition and this is our first match of this year’s tournament. As with any home match, there is a quick ceremonial flag raising, which we aim to do at every home game this year. Trying to make it a thing. The Bytown Boys and Capital City Supporters groups were in full voice the past two matches, so feel free to join in and make some noise as well. We’ve heard all the songs and chants they sing are available to learn in an ebook. Reach out and they’ll set you up. And a friendly reminder to get here early and please be patient with the TD Place staff. This is the one of the first live events in a very long time. Riding a bike is also a great option to get here. Lots of places to lock up in and around Lansdowne. Walking is also pretty solid way to get here. Secretly waiting for the super healthy crew to plan some long distance runs that end here at TD Place with a cold one. If you are taking public transportation, remember… it’s FREE. You may need to show your ticket on your phone, if asked, but OC Transpo really came through on this one: free transit 3 hours before or after a match. Of course, if you just have to show off that 1984 Pontiac Grand Am, on-site parking is available HERE.
