CPL commissioner David Clanachan last offered an update on the 2021 season in May, saying league officials were eyeing a single-site start with the goal to return to clubs’ home markets as COVID-19 vaccinations continue to roll out across the country.

Clanachan also highlighted a mid-June to early July start date with the aim to play a full 28-game season.
