Day 4 on the pitch: March 5th – The squad is really starting to settle in and play as a cohesive unit. Today the boys trained twice. Once in the morning, and once in the evening. It’s only day 4 on the pitch in Madrid but there is already some positive changes in the squad’s chemistry and fitness.

Day 5 on the pitch: March 6th – Inter-squad scrimmage! Today is the first time that the boys have seen some real game-like play. It got a little physical, and VERY competitive. It’s evident that everyone is trying to show the coaches what they can do.

Day 6 on the pitch: Match 7th – Rest & evening training. Following the scrimmage yesterday, head coach Gonzalez gave the boys the morning off to rest and recover. The rest didn’t last long. Our afternoon session came quick enough and the boys got right back into their regular training schedule.

Day 7 on the pitch: March 8th – Not one, not two, but three sessions today. Head coach Gonzalez is pushing this squad to the max. Today the boys started their morning with a fitness session in the gym, followed by a training session in the morning and one in the evening.

Day 8 on the pitch: Match 9th – This morning the squad got a little change in scenery. We started off our day at a local golf course where the boys did a long-distance run to test their fitness. After the run, we continued on our typical training schedule with our a session in the morning and one in the evening.
