We’ve wrapped up our recent Atlético de Madrid High Performance Clinic, and what an incredible two days it was at the RA Centre! The clinic brought together 55 young athletes aged 12-16, along with an outstanding team of coaches, to create an unforgettable experience.
The event featured top-notch coaching from:
Carl Haworth, former Atlético Ottawa captain and now Technical Director and Lead Coach at Gloucester Hornets.
Drew Beckie, another former Atlético Ottawa captain, now serving as Youth Development Manager at Atlético Ottawa.
Stephen O’Kane, Head Coach of Atlético Ottawa’s U23 Development Program.
André-Pierre Laurin, Head Coach of Atlético Ottawa’s indoor soccer and futsal programs.
Andrei Bădescu, a former professional goalkeeper and current GK coach at West Ottawa.
We also had the dynamic presence of CrossFit Hintonburg, adding a fitness and conditioning perspective to round out what it takes to excel as a professional player.
It was an inspiring way to kick off the new year, leaving everyone energized and ready for a 2025 filled with great soccer vibes.
